Cambodia encourages closer cooperation on trade, tourism investment, and human capital development with Cyprus and other countries.
Cambodia’s Acting Head of State Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, who serves as Senate President, highlighted the desired cooperation when receiving Honorary Consul of Cyprus to Cambodia H.E. Salah Essa on Mar. 18 in Phnom Penh.
In the meeting, H.E. Salah Essa and a group of Honorary Consuls of ten other countries that he led to meet with Samdech Techo Hun Sen spoke highly of Cambodia’s rapid socio-economic growth and hoped to leverage cooperation with the country.
Thanking the delegation, Samdech Techo Hun Sen said that Cambodia is keen to focus on trade, tourism investment, and human capital development with the countries that the Honorary Consuls represent.
H.E. Salah Essa responded that he and other Honorary Consuls will work hard to promote the proposed areas of cooperation by expanding trade and attracting more investment and tourists to Cambodia.
