South Afric: H.E Dr. Kao Thach CEO of the Agricultural and Rural Development Bank (ARDB) and the president of Association of Development Finance Institutions of Asia-Pacific (ADFIAP) was invited to attend the opening ceremony of Finance in Common Submit 2025 in Cape Town, the capital of South Africa.
The ceremony was presided by South Africa’s minister of Finance, Under-Secretary-General of the United Nations, Governor of the Central Bank of the French Republic and President of the Bank for International Settlements (BIS), and President of the French Agency for Development on the theme “Fostering Infrastructure and Finance for Just and Sustainable Growth”។
On the occasion, H.E Dr. Kao Thach was invited to be guest speaker in the name of the president of Association of Development Finance Institutions of Asia-Pacific (ADFIAP)on Green Financial System: Removing Capital Barriers to Support Climate Actions and Developments which was co-chairs leading the discussion by The Minister of Finance of Brazil and the Minister of Finance of Indonesia.
H.E Dr. Kao Thach expressed the efforts of ADFIAP to gathering another Development Banks and Financial Institutions from Asia-Pacific to driving the sustainable developments.
Through this year submit H.E Dr. Kao Thach briefed on the efforts of the Royal Government of the 7th Mandate of the National Assembly, under the leadership of Samdech Hun Manet , Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, to launch the Pentagon Strategy – Phase 1 to grow the economy, create jobs, ensure equity, increase efficiency, and maintain sustainability to this Global Financial Conference.
The Finance in Common Submit 2025 was held on February 26-28 in Cape Town, South Africa
and co-organized by the Development Bank of South Africa and the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank with support from the French Development Agency.
